Souled American: an intimate live performance
November 20 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm EST
$25Souled American is a musical act that began in Chicago in late 1986, and that played alternative country before that term existed, slowcore before that term existed, and ambient Americana (a term that never existed). Originally a quartet, drummer Jamey Barnard left in 1992, followed by guitarist Scott Tuma three years later. The founding singer/songwriters Joe Adducci and Chris Grigoroff remain. More info can be found at — https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Souled_American
Give them a listen at — https://souledamerican.bandcamp.com/ — where newly reissued, limited edition vinyl of their “Frozen” and “Notes Campfire” records can be ordered. Their other releases are available as digital downloads.
Joe and Chris will be accompanied by bassist/guitarist Clark Hayes, who engineered their last two records and their forthcoming, long-awaited release. They’ll be a shifting trio of two guitars and a bass, playing somewhat quietly, and likely with the lights down low.
Please purchase tickets at the link provided. There are a limited number of seats available, and we will likely sell out. This will be a quiet performance in a small space. Please refrain from talking during the performance. Thank you.
